I started the lessons as I wanted to upgrade my English grammar and speaking skills back to what they were when I lived abroad in the States. I noticed that my English wasn’t as good as it was back then and I grabbed this opportunity to brush up on my English.

I was really made to feel at ease during the classes, as I was a bit uncertain. Grammar and pronunciation were explained with the necessary humor and  daily, practical examples. The teacher asked what our goal and needs were during classes and made sure we received the right assignments ( to practise) and gave us the tools required to meet our goals.  

We as students talked a lot during the classes, I therefore really feel that my English has upgraded and I’m 100% confident when I speak English during work or with friends. At this point I hardly have to look for words and my English vocabulary has been enriched enormously.

Studying with Next Level was a great experience. You not only learn the grammar, but you also train your speaking skills. In a very relaxed manner we practised how to deliver presentations, to debate and we improved our email writing skills.

I have never been so positive about an English class before. Jason is really the best. Not only I, but also my colleagues, have noticed my improvement in English speaking, writing and presenting. Instead of general lessons, Jason really adjusts his lessons to your personal situation, learning ability and level. Because he is a very nice person and has broad interest and knowledge, you can talk with him about everything. This makes it also interesting and fun to go. What also helps is that he speaks Dutch as well. So if you have questions in Dutch, he can translate them immediately into English. Before the course started, Jason asked us what we wanted to improve during this course and what we wanted to achieve. For me this answer was simple: I wanted to be more confident about my writing and speaking by using different words and sentences. Furthermore it was important for me to scale up my presentation skills, which I did with success! Due to the lessons I got the opportunity to present in a small group which felt really comfortable. I think you’re a great and fun teacher who can really read a group and is flexible to do whatever is needed to keep the attention of the group and make the lessons as vibrant as they were. We always came out of class with a big smile. You adjust your teaching style to the group easily. You made the lessons very practical with lots of different assignments like presentations for the whole group but also in pairs about certain topics you provided, debates, email writing and so on. All of that in a really relaxed atmosphere.

Before the course started I was insecure about speaking  English. When my employer gave me the opportunity to participate in an English course, my first response was somewhat sceptical thinking ‘my English is fine’. Nevertheless, I decided to join the course and I don’t regret it for a second! I have never been able to learn so much new vocabulary in such a short period of time.
